Finger Picking
September. A chill in the air? Not here in Texas. Its very hot here, and it seems taht each day is an ozone alert day. Swell…yet another reason to stay inside. I think that working on this picking pattern exercise should keep you people busy! It features a strong 4 note feel with a strong accent on the 1st of each group of 4. (1) 2 3 4 (1) 2 3 4 (1) 2 3 4 (1) 2 3 4 Get it? I use 3 finger picking technique and the rakes land even. If you use 2 fingers, just alternate. John Aldrete (Racer X) was the king of this.
